Yes, I’m here to tell you about my experience and accolades. However, it’s easier to tell you about my journey so that you can understand who I am and where I’m headed

After completing my BFA in Art & Design, I was eager to work in the creative industry, but I wasn’t sure what specifically. I tried my hand at different things, such as UI and UX design at a studio, building web apps, and helping small businesses launch their products. Eventually, I focused on advertising and worked at a global agency in San Francisco. I gained experience as a Sr. Art Director and improved my social media strategy skills, even winning a One Show award for Interface Design/UI & UX craft. Later, I was recruited by Twitter, and it has been an incredible journey. I’m proud to have been part of the leadership team that transformed the company, influenced how we design, create, and strategize, and helped big brands achieve their goals.

While at Twitter, I collaborated closely with a team of strategists, creatives, data scientists, technologists, and producers to build new ideas in partnership with Twitter’s most talked-about brands, such as Apple, Google, Disney, McDonald’s, General Motors, and other Fortune 100 companies. Eventually I was promoted to Creative Team Manager and had the privilege of overseeing design.

I also earned some credibility after surviving three rounds of layoffs at Twitter. Emerging from version 1.0 to 2.0 felt like getting an entirely new job without having to interview. With constant changes in the company, my adaptability and leadership skills became a focal point. I managed personal dilemmas of my teammates, had tough conversations that ended with goodbye, and coped with new policies and ways of working, including repositioning our team and reevaluating bandwidth based on reduced headcount. Despite the chaos, supporting my team through tough times is something I’m most proud of.

In Summer of 2023 I was recruited to join Uber’s Advertising team as their Creative Director, where I’m currently supporting Sales and Account Management. By partnering closely with both sales & product teams around the globe, my team creates ad campaigns, communications, websites and product launches for both Uber and our advertising brands.

My Swiss army knife of multidisciplinary skills and experiences has opened up a range of opportunities to me that have increased my scope of interests and passions. This has allowed me to be open minded to new ways of working, and I’m always eager to learn more from others. So, let’s connect!
